Hello, and welcome to my new Blog! As you can tell some of the links are not active, as the blog is still new and not fully completed … but it will be soon.. just in time for my new 2012 weddings! So a little information about me: I moved to the Hudson Valley region of New York about 9 years ago after living in NYC and working for many magazines including Martha Stewart Living, Town & Country, Vogue.. and too many others to list. After moving here I discovered the world of weddings and never looked back. I love meeting couples starting their lives together …. and telling the story of this very important time in their lives, through my photographs. My talent is tuning into the special aspects of a relationship, capturing the epic drama as well as the intimate and tender moments that would slip by other eyes.
I call my style: romantic realism. It is stylish and natural wedding photography. I like customize my work according to my couples personality, because I like them to be comfortable with me. If someone has a super outgoing personality…. hey I am up for that! But sometimes people are more camera-shy.. and have trepidation about the whole process of having their photo taken. I totally understand that too. I always tell my couples, that they will be so preoccupied with getting married and the excitement of the day, that they will hardly know that I’m there … and it is true!!
I prefer shooting with as much available light as possible to give my images an organic and natural look. Atmosphere and feeling are two of the most important things I want my images to convey. I want people to look at my photos and feel what it was like to have been there. My goal is to draw you into the scene, giving you a glimpse of the event brought to life.
